Most commercial facilities either “under buy” or “over buy” their exercise equipment.
Many smaller corporate facilities such as a doctor’s office, physical therapy center, chiropractor’s office, fitness studio, hotel, motel, homeowners association, office gym, school or university, etc., may not need full commercial, health club quality exercise equipment.
They don’t need to spend $8,000 on a treadmill that will only be used 3-4 hours a day. However, they do need fitness equipment rated and warrantied for commercial use and most residential equipment will not have a commercial warranty.
